Pablo was born in Bilbao (Spain). He originally studied Engineering and worked in the industry for a couple of years. At that time he used to take B&W photographs with and old Nikon, and used to spend hours printing pictures at his home-made lab.
In January 2005 he moved to the UK to study a BA Contemporary Photographic Arts degree. He graduated in June 2008 and that summer he assisted advertising photographer Peer Lindgreen in London. It was short but intense. In October he started working as a professional photographer doing all kind of jobs.
At the same time he undertook a MA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication. This led him into filmmaking and storytelling, completing a varied type of work, from commercial to documentary projects.
In summer 2010 he decided to move back to Spain. He now lives between Barcelona and his hometown Bilbao and he does freelance work with a very clear goal. To engage with every project, big or small.
Pablo nació en Bilbao. En un principio estudió Ingeniería Técnica Industrial y trabajó en la industria durante un par de años. En esa época solía sacar fotos en B&N con una vieja Nikon y pasaba horas imprimiéndolas en su laboratorio casero.
En enero de 2005 se trasladó al Reino Unido para estudiar un BA Contemporary Photographic Arts. Se graduó en junio de 2008 y ese verano asistió al fotógrafo publicitario Peer Lindgreen en Londres. Corto pero intenso. En octubre empezó a trabajar profesionalmente haciendo todo tipo de trabajos.
Al mismo tiempo, realizó un MA Photojournalism & Documentary Photography en el London College of Communication. Esto le condujo a producir vídeos, y desde entonces ha completado diversos proyectos, entre lo comercial y el documental.
El verano de 2010 decide regresar a España. Ahora vive entre Barcelona y Bilbao y trabaja como "freelance", con un objetivo muy claro. Involucrarse en cada proyecto, ya sea grande ó pequeño.
